I've been thinking about tasks lately. I always have a lot of things I should do. That doesn't mean I do them -- it just means I *should* do them. The latest one is getting my tax records together. I've been putting that one off for a couple months now. However, I think the deadline for my preparer is quickly approaching and I need to bite the bullet and get to it.
Why am I wired this way? Almost dailey I ignor things I need to do until there's a deadline. And it's not just the things that are really difficult or unpleasant. In fact, most of these things end up being pretty easy and relatively painless, yet they get ignored or pushed aside...
Now I'm writing this stupid blog instead of doing something that's waiting to be done...
Ugh!
